The site has been ported to Google Sites and now uses an adapted version of the Travel Journal Template. I have added the top navigation buttons and changed the background of the sidebar. Of course I also changed the header and some of the other pictures. The goal is that this new look feels both new, but also somewhat familiar with the old site.

I noted that the comments on the about page have been disappeared so I decided to make them reappear again. Therefor I have added the following code to the Page template.

Now the site is using an adapted version of the Cutline theme of Chris Pearson. It seems that that is theme is WordPress 2.1 compatible and can be rather easy adapted to the needs of this site. I’ll hope that we can stick to this theme for quite some time and focus on the chess [...]

The WordPress Theme has been changed, because of the fact that the lay-out of ordered and unordered lists in the Painted Desert theme was rather awkward. We are now using Connections for the time being.

For the moment we use an adapted version of the painted desert theme but we plan to use our own theme after some time. We like the theme, but it is not very chess related and the static pages seem to have disappeared.
